Canadian women throughout history have stood for strength, independence, and generosity. The Canadian Women's Club of Boston, Inc. operates in tribute of those trailblazers, who faced trials of nature, war, and tragedy without ever losing that special grace and wit. Founded in 1988, the Canadian Women's Club of Boston, Inc., is one of many that exist throughout the world, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Brussels, Tokyo, and the island of Barbados. These clubs offer community and cultural opportunities for learning and social exchange among Canadian women living in the area. They also raise funds for a variety of causes both social and educational. As diverse as the women pioneers that came before them, each group creates unique events that tap the culture and variety of their home city. The Canadian Women's Club of Boston meets monthly in Weston, easily accessible from the Mass Pike & Route 128/95. The Club is a non-profit charitable organization supporting a variety of causes both locally and extends this philanthropy back to
